Immigration help for Woodbridge and Prince William County families
Immigration law is federal, so the forms and the rules are the same everywhere in the country. What changes from place to place is who you can sit down with, in your own language, when something goes wrong. That is what a local office is for.
USG Law Group is a bilingual immigration firm led by attorney Marianela Uribe, who is licensed in Virginia and Maryland and is an immigrant herself. Attorney Sandra Leiva handles immigration court (EOIR) cases, including detained clients and bond hearings. Gigi Mejia, our USCIS Practice Manager, is usually the first person you will talk to.
Most of our Woodbridge clients come to us for one of three reasons: a family member they want to bring or keep here, a hearing notice or ICE appointment they are afraid of, or a case another office started and never finished. Whatever brought you here, we start by listening and then explain your real options.
How we work with clients in Woodbridge
You can start by phone or the short quiz on this site. Gigi will ask a few questions and set up a free consultation with an attorney, in person at the Golansky Blvd office or by phone or Zoom if that is easier for you.
After the consultation, you can send documents by email, or bring them to the office. We prepare the filing, review it with you line by line, and tell you what to expect next. We prepare you before any USCIS interview at the local field office and go with you when the case calls for it.
If your case is in immigration court (EOIR), removal cases for Northern Virginia residents are generally heard at the Arlington Immigration Court or the Annandale Immigration Court. We represent clients at both, and we can accompany you to ICE check-ins.

Why Woodbridge families choose USG Law Group
Clients tell us two things most often: that we prepared their case faster than other offices had quoted, and that we explained every step so they always knew where the case stood. One family of four told us the attorney and team stayed on top of the process until each of them had their permits.
We offer payment plans and financing, a free first consultation, and appointments that fit around work schedules. You will deal with the same small team from the first call to the last filing, and you can reach us with questions in between.

- Full service in English and Spanish, not just a translator.
