Immigration help for Annandale and Fairfax County families
If you live in Annandale, along Little River Turnpike or Columbia Pike, or anywhere inside the Beltway in Fairfax County, you are in a community where many families are dealing with immigration cases at the same time. Some have a court date. Some are waiting on a petition. Some have a relative who was just detained.
USG Law Group is a bilingual firm based in Woodbridge. We do not have an office in Annandale, but we represent clients at the Annandale Immigration Court and we meet Annandale clients by phone, Zoom or in person at our Woodbridge office. Attorney Sandra Leiva focuses on immigration court work, including detained clients and bond hearings. Attorney Marianela Uribe, licensed in Virginia and Maryland, leads the firm and the USCIS side of the practice.
We also serve nearby Alexandria, Falls Church, Springfield and Fairfax City.
How we work with clients who have hearings at Annandale Immigration Court
The first step is a free consultation, usually by phone or Zoom so we can start quickly. Bring your Notice to Appear and any hearing notices. We check the court, the date, the type of hearing and whether anything has already been missed.
Most court cases begin with one or more master calendar hearings, which are short scheduling hearings, before an individual hearing where the judge decides the case. Between hearings, we gather your evidence by email, prepare the applications that fit your case, such as asylum (I-589) or cancellation of removal (EOIR-42B), and rehearse your testimony with you in your own language.
On the hearing day, your attorney is with you in the courtroom. In-person meetings in Woodbridge are usually needed only to sign documents and to prepare right before the individual hearing. If a family member is detained, we can request a bond hearing and work on release while the main case moves forward.

Our office is in Woodbridge, and that works for Annandale
USG Law Group's only office is at 3102 Golansky Blvd, Suite 201, Woodbridge, VA 22192, near Potomac Mills. From Annandale, it is reachable by I-495 to I-95, or by I-395 to I-95, heading south. We do not list a drive time because Northern Virginia traffic makes any number unreliable.

Why Fairfax County families choose USG Law Group for court cases
A court case is stressful because it is slow and the stakes are high. Clients tell us what helped most was knowing exactly what each hearing was for and what would happen next. We explain everything, and we answer messages between hearings.
We offer payment plans and financing for court cases, which often span years, and the whole team speaks Spanish. Attorney Marianela Uribe came to this country as an immigrant herself, and we are members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
