Immigration help for Springfield and southern Fairfax County families
Many of the people who call us from Springfield are working families: one spouse with status and one without, a parent who wants to petition for a child, a worker whose permit is about to expire, or a long-time resident who is finally ready to apply for citizenship.
USG Law Group does not have an office in Springfield. Our office is in Woodbridge, near Potomac Mills, and that is where we meet clients in person. Everything else, from the first consultation to sending documents, can be done by phone, Zoom, email.
The firm is led by attorney Marianela Uribe, licensed in Virginia and Maryland, who went through the immigration process herself. Attorney Sandra Leiva handles immigration court (EOIR) matters, and Gigi Mejia coordinates intake and the USCIS petition side.
How we work with clients in Springfield, Franconia and Kingstowne
Call or take the short quiz on this site. Gigi will ask what is going on and book a free consultation with an attorney, by phone or Zoom, or in person in Woodbridge if you prefer to sit down with us.
Once we agree on a plan, you send us documents by email, or drop them off. We prepare the forms, go over everything with you in your language, and file. When USCIS schedules an interview, we prepare you ahead of time and can attend with you. If USCIS sends a Request for Evidence, we respond to it.
If your matter is in immigration court (EOIR), removal cases from Springfield are typically heard at the Annandale or Arlington immigration courts. We represent clients at both and can accompany you to ICE check-ins. In-person visits to Woodbridge are usually only needed for signatures and interview preparation.

Our office is in Woodbridge, a short drive down I-95
USG Law Group is at 3102 Golansky Blvd, Suite 201, Woodbridge, VA 22192, in the Potomac Mills area. From the Springfield Interchange, head south on I-95 and exit at Prince William Parkway toward Potomac Mills. There is free parking at the building.

Why Springfield families choose USG Law Group
Clients often tell us that we prepared their case sooner than other offices had quoted, and that we explained each step in detail instead of just asking for signatures. That matters when the process is long and the paperwork is confusing.
We offer a free first consultation, payment plans and financing, and a team that speaks Spanish from the front desk to the attorney. We are members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
- Bilingual service at every step, not just at intake.
