USG LAW GROUP LLC

Immigration Attorney Serving Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, Maryland

Annapolis is a small city with a big share of families whose lives cross borders: a spouse from abroad, a parent who needs a green card, a teenager who needs status before adulthood. If you are looking for an immigration attorney in Annapolis, MD, USG Law Group's two Maryland-licensed attorneys serve Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Severna Park, Odenton and the rest of Anne Arundel County by video and phone, with in-person meetings at our Woodbridge, Virginia office about an hour away. The first consultation is free, in English or Spanish.

Immigration help for Annapolis and Anne Arundel County families

Most of the Annapolis families who contact us are not in crisis. They are trying to do something right: file a petition for a husband or wife, apply for citizenship after years as a resident, renew a work permit before it lapses, or help a child who came here alone find a lawful path forward.

USG Law Group is a bilingual immigration firm. Attorney Marianela Uribe, our founder, has been licensed in Maryland since 2019 and is also licensed in Virginia. Attorney Sandra Leiva is licensed in Maryland and handles immigration court (EOIR) cases. Gigi Mejia, our USCIS Practice Manager, works the USCIS petition side and will be your first point of contact.

We do not have an Annapolis office. Our office is in Woodbridge, Virginia, reached from Annapolis by US-50 and the Beltway, about an hour depending on traffic. Most of our Anne Arundel clients never need to make that drive.

How we work with clients in Annapolis

Start with a phone call or the quiz on this site. Gigi will schedule a free consultation with an attorney by phone or Zoom, including evening and Saturday times. If you prefer to meet face to face, we will book a visit to Woodbridge.

From there, you send documents by email. We prepare the application, go through it with you on a video call, and file it with USCIS. When an interview is scheduled, we prepare you for the questions in advance. If USCIS sends a Request for Evidence, we answer it.

If a case is in immigration court (EOIR), removal cases for Maryland residents are heard at the Baltimore Immigration Court. Attorney Sandra Leiva represents clients there and plans the hearing-day logistics with you. We can also accompany you to ICE check-ins.

Our office is in Woodbridge, Virginia, about an hour from Annapolis

USG Law Group's office is at 3102 Golansky Blvd, Suite 201, Woodbridge, VA 22192, near Potomac Mills. From Annapolis, it is roughly an hour via US-50 to the Capital Beltway and south on I-95, depending on traffic. We do not keep an Annapolis address, and we want you to know that before you call.

For most Annapolis clients, the Woodbridge office is a place they see once, if at all. The consultation, document review, and preparation happen by Zoom and phone, and signatures are handled remotely where the rules allow. When a visit is needed, we schedule it as a single trip.
